49th George A. Obenauer Masters Underway
Williamsville, NY - May 15, 2012
The 49th Annual George A. Obenauer Masters, presented by the Greater Buffalo USBC Association and sponsored by BowlWNY.com and Bowler's Choice Pro Shop, gets underway Tuesday, May 15th at Transit Lanes in Williamsville, NY. The event runs through it's final matches to be held Sunday, May 20th.

A near-full field of 123 bowlers take to the lanes for qualifying rounds Tuesday and Wednesday, May 15th and 16th, followed by double-elimination match play beginning Thursday night, May 17th. Competition will begin at 6:30 PM each night of the event, with the final day of competition taking place at 1:00 PM Sunday, May 20th at Transit Lanes.

BowlWNY.com returns as tournament sponsor for the second consecutive year. Up-to-date results will be available here by clicking the link at the upper right section of the page throughout the duration of this year's event. This year's Obenauer Masters Champion will take home a first place prize of $2,000.
