Taylor, Cully Take All-Events Gold to Cap Empire State Games
Adirondack Region member Mark Taylor, Schenectady, and Long Island Region member
Eryn Cully, Medford, took the overall All-Events Gold Medals at the 2010 Empire
State Games Bowling competition, July 24th at Transit Lanes in Williamsville.
Taylor posted a near-perfect 7-1 record in the 8 game round-robin competition, outdistancing his Adirondack teammate William Pulver, Albany, by 68 pins for the victory.
Cully earned her victory in a much tighter race in the Women's Division, just
17 pins over Silver Medalist Taylor Swartz, Windson, of the Central Region.
New York City's Melissa Kammerer, Staten Island, was just 5 pins behind Swartz
to earn the Bronze.

Buffalo's Joe Ciccone rolled to a 279 pin victory to capture his 12th career PBA regional
title in the Central Region Dan Kondas Memorial Open, July 18th at Legend Lanes
in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.
