Lessar defeated the top qualifier, Albany, NY's Chris Feeden, in the title match, 257-180 to win the title on June 3rd. Lessar earned $1,500 for his victory, while Feeden earned $850 for his runner-up finish.
After qualifying second in the eight-games rolled on Saturday, Lessar lost only one game in the elimination finals, defeating Thomas Sliwinski, Reynoldsville, PA, 3-1 in the opening round, before dispatching PBA champion George Pappas 200-181 in the semifinal round.
William Thompson, Jamestown, was the highest local finisher, taking down $550 for his seventh place finish. Jamestown's John Geraci, Jr., host proprietor Jim Mee, and Pat Parisi also cashed in the event, finishing 10th, 12th, and 13th, respectively.
The event was the first annual Senior Regional held at Jamestown Bowling Company.
