The prestigious $5,000 scholarships, which recognize youth bowlers' community service and academic achievements, were awarded to Amy Domiano of Buffalo, N.Y.; Richard Fornshell of Summertown, Tenn.; Margaret Rotz of Hubbard, Ohio; Desiree Swenson of Bertram, Texas; and Christina Taylor of Everett, Wash.
"I have learned that being a successful individual is not about how much money you make or how well you perform a certain task. She plans to attend Niagara University this fall to major in hospitality, hotel management and tourism and minor in dance.
